Jasmine
{georgia family photographer}
Our jasmine is AGLOW!
And so, so fragrant...
Nothing like a few rainy days to bring out the blossoms and the wonderful smell. We enjoyed the late afternoon yesterday, in between storms.

Family love
{atlanta family photographer}
Yesterday I photographed a wonderful family, from newborn baby to great-grandma.
Despite the rain and occasional hail spell, we even got some outdoor images with this brave and very friendly group of people!
The home we were in had great windows and wonderful furniture, and this helped add that personalized look I love in my photography.
Here is a sneak peek. You'll see the whole handsome group, the beautiful grandma, and the two little supermodel cousins. Enjoy!

Must.... get.... cats....
So, I love animals a LOT. But didn't particularly think of myself to be a cat person.
This is all about to change, because I got to photograph these two gorgeous gentlemen today!

Sunday sunshine
{atlanta children lifestyle photographer}
I had so much fun at the park on this very sunny Sunday afternoon, with this wonderful family!
The kids are super-duper CUTE, as you can see. Little Eleaonor is 1, and loves to have a say on what's going on around her. And big brother Ryan is a sweet, handsome little explorer, always ready for the next adventure.

Give peace a chance
{atlanta school photographer}
How do you go from this:
to this?
to this?
I'd tell you, but then I'd have to... um... let YOU do it next time :)
Fingers crossed this gorgeous piece of art (mounted, metallic paper, textured, framed and ready to go, in a 15x30 size) will raise some nice funds for my kids' school at tomorrow's auction!
These are the hands of the children in my son's class. How cute are they??
UPDATE!: This piece sold for $650, which is right at its estimated fair market value, and I am very happy!!

Baby Lilly, extended preview
{atlanta newborn photography}
Here are the promissed few more images to tie Lilly's mommy and daddy over until the full gallery is ready.
I had a wonderful time meeting you guys! So much beauty and goodness in your family, it was a privilege to be a part of this unique time in your lives and help you create keepsake images of Lilly's first week.
The weather was bright and sunny, after a few days of gloom and rain, so we had some great natural light to work with. And Lilly was up for the photoshoot, the little trouper. She was awake for much of the time, but her mommy and I were even more awake, so we got some of the wordeful sleepy curly shots that only newborns can pull off.

Current Specials, and a Casting Call!
I have a few specials going on, so I am listing them in one place for easy finding. In fact, look for a Promotions button on my website in the next few days, as another entry point to these seasonal great deals!
First, I am still looking for that special newborn whose photoshoot can benefit Susan G Komen. Details are here -- remember, newborns are best photographed when they are 5-7 days old, so call while still prengnant if possible!
Second, between now and April 15th, all wall prints and canvases larger than 20x20 are 20% off! This is a great opportunity to get that mantel or behind-the-sofa piece you were hoping to get, at a significant value, so contact me and I can come take a look at your space and advise on the best product(s) and sizes.
Third, a super fun casting call!! Do you know a one-of-a-kind, deserving youngster? I am adding some fun high school senior images to my portfolio, and I am looking for a special senior to photograph, whose personality matches up well with my style. The session will be on location, 2-3 different locations, 2-3 outfit changes. Send me a short email with a picture of your nominee, and a brief description of why you think she/he deserves to be the one to win this casting call.
The winner will get a FREE 2 hour session, an 8x10 print and 4 wallets of their favorite image, as well as a week-long online gallery, and in person ordering session. This is a $200 value, so send your suggestions soon! The session will be completed before mid-April. Once I get a winner, I will update this post.
UPDATE: We have a winner! I'll photograph beautiful Kayley later this month -- thanks for the nominations!
Fourth, I have currently an offer out with a special for homeschooling, unschooling and stay-at-home families! For the week of March 30th, gather a minimum of six children and I will come to a convenient location to take Spring portraits of the children at deep, School picture-level discounts. More details here. Contact me now to reserve a time slot and to find out even more information, this is a once-a-year opportunity that is worth taking advantage of.
Phew -- that's it for now, folks! Enjoy the savings, and the stunning weather outside!

I love hats
My name is Oana and I am getting hopelessly hooked on etsy products:
This is a sun hat by SMYling sisters , modeled by my daughter (who is truthfully a bit big for the hat, but also a willing model).

March is here!
So, March is *MY* month, and as such I like it quite a bit!
First, Happy March 1st! Which in Romania is a sort of Spring-celebrating Valentine's Day (lucky chimney sweeper, tied with red and white string):

Then, hats off to Atlanta's crazy weather!
Here is a picture of my daughter on the last day of February (apparently she and brother went out to "dry out the deck with towels", so that they can "go on the tricycles really fast and not slip"). This is the attire she chose, and at about 60F, it made (some) sense.
Here she is again, the next day, yesterday, during my first ever "thundersnow": a wonderful snowfall with huge, wet and heavy snowflakes, enhanced occasionally by the additional excitment brought by lighting/thunder:
And here are a few more of the snowtime!
A few more, as promised:
