Baby Charlie is here! {newborn photography atlanta}

I got to spend about 28 hours with a wonderful couple, over the past couple of days, witnessing the incredible journey of labor, birth and growth of a family.

Baby Charles Michael Jenkins was born today at 3:08pm, to Kim and Ryan. He weighs 7lbs 1 oz and measures 20.5 in.

His birth is a testament to the strength and determination of his mother, Kim, to bring him into this world in a non-surgical way. He was born by VBA2C, in the care of the always inspired and inspiring doc T.

Kim labored like an incredible warrior, over several days of prolongued early labor. She adjusted to labor as it went along, with all its wonder and unpredictibility, and always kept her strength and focus working towards what mattered most.

Here are some images I was happy to record for them, as their doula. Thank you, guys, for inviting me to spend all this time witnessing the growth of your wonderful family!

I was feeling playful late last night (early this morning, actually) and created this composite as a preview to the images from the tea party fundraiser - enjoy!

Last month I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful family, who are members of my V.I.B. plan. Looking forward to meeting and photographing the new baby in about a month!

Loved meeting this family and playing together on an overcast, almost-raining morning.

We had a blast, and I love the freshness of the images we created together!

And if you're wondering whether I preselect all the kids I photograph by how delightfully endearing their faces and expressions are, well, yes, yes I do! Kidding... I am just lucky that way, to have the most gorgeous kids in town as models.

Isabella Rose is here!

Today, early in the morning, at 4:40am, Isabella Rose was born. As their doula, I loved witnessing this labor of love, and Cassie's relentless strength and unfailing instincts.

Cassie and Tony chose to labor downtown, less than a mile away from the hospital. We spent several hours there together as Cassie's labor moved along. She walked the halls of the hotel, went up and down stairs, changing positions frequently in and out of bed, tub, on the ball.

We arrived at the hospital close to midnight and after another hour of walking and an hour of attempted rest, beautiful Isabella was born, sliding into this world, in all her beauty!

She weighed 7lbs 14 oz and measured 19.5in.

I loved meeting little Max and his mommy at a local park, and creating some images to celebrate what is possibly my favorite stage, toddlerhood :)

Fairy tea party sneak peek{atlanta themed photography}

A quick preview from this afternoon tea party fundraiser benefitting AMISEF. Thanks to all fairies (and parental companions) who participated, so much cuteness for a cause benefitting other children, what can be sweeter?

A special sprinkling of fairy dust for Diana, the organizer, who put a lot of effort in making sure the details were delightful and the girls had lots of fun! And the Oakfurst Community Garden is an enchanted venue indeed!

Little girls' tea party fundraiser

Have a little girl who likes tea parties and dress-up? A local school is holding a tea party at Oakhurst Garden, to benefit the school's education foundation.
