We have some great news to share this month!


With your help, our 2011 Childhood Calendar has raised $5,630 for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta!


This is such a dear project to me, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for every one of you who signed up their child as a model, passed the word during out voting stages, voted for our child-of-the-month contestants, donated to the fundraiser, purchased or helped us sell these beautiful calendars!

We are now, finalizing the selection of the 2012 beneficiary, and I look forward to letting everyone know our choice soon! Thanks for everyone's suggestions and input via our Facebook outreach, you have suggested some great organizations!

You were there for us, as we reached out during this year's fundraiser -- we want to be there for you, and help a cause or organization dear to your heart.


So, for every session booked during the rest of February (good for any time in 2011), one HUNDRED dollars of the session fee will go to a school or non-profit of your choice.

We take only a handful of weddings each year, and the basic coverage starts at $2,000. Our detailed wedding price list is available by request.

Engagement sessions are available as part of some of the wedding packages, or stand-alone as Creative Portrait sessions.

Color{photography contest, color portraits}

You might have noticed by now, if you're familiar with my work, that I am in love with color :)
Especially where child portraits are concerned, I am moved by how color plays a role in defining the mood of an image, and highlighting the personality of the person in the portrait.

(not to say I don't love black and white imagery -- remember, I only photographed black and white film for many years in the beginning of my love affair with photography -- or even with vintage, muted shades; but colors, when doing their job well, stir my soul in a very special way).

That being said, here I share with you my entries to a recent portrait photographers' contest themed "Color".

The Four Season Members can add a cake session at half price to their photography, and everyone else can book the Celebrate Baby session at the same rate as our in studio Pure and Simple offering (cake's on us! -- literally :)).
