Here are a couple of images from a recent impromptu photo shoot of our dear friends the Umanas, who were unsuspectingly driving through Atlanta a few weeks ago.
We had a great time reconnecting by the Chattahoochee, and meeting their newest daughter -- how beautiful are these girls??
We hope to see you again before too long, guys!

Baby Jacob
{atlanta newborn photography}
Here is the sneak peek for Baby Jacob's newborn photoshoot, from this past Sunday. Not quite a week old, yet he was awake for most of the pictures, but perfectly content to go along with the flow!
Thanks for opening your home to me, guys! I enjoyed meeting your new baby boy!

{atlanta baby photographer}
Here is the sneak peek for the afternoon session from this past Saturday. I loved meeting this family, with the sweet beautiful little Hannah, as well as her fun and good looking cousins visiting from California.
There are many other images I love, here are some of my favorites:

Beautiful Spring
{atlanta outdoor family portraits}
I am catching up a bit on blogging some more recent sessions -- school portraits these past few days (over 200 kids and loving it) have slowed some of these previews.
Here are some sneak peeks for Saturday morning's session, with one of my favorite families!
We had great weather and I had a lot of fun photographing Jackson and Natalie and their parents at a couple of locations, plus hunting some of the blooming azalea bushes in their neighborhood.

Mother's Day gift
{Atlanta family photogtapher}
In honor of Mother's Day, for any family/child/newborn session you book between today and May 10th (retainer needs to be paid by May 10th, but actual session can take place until the end of May), I will include a complimentary photo jewlery necklace with one of the images from your session (a $60 value if you'd like extra at the same time; after Mother's Day, regular price becomes $75).
The "Mary necklace" included with this offer showcases a pewter pendant on an adjustable leather strap, as shown below (width/length are 1 1/4 in).
To receive this necklace please mention this offer at the time when you make the deposit for your session! Depending on the timing of the actual session, it may or may not be delivered before Mother's Day.
Sterling silver charms and chains as well as multiple charms per necklace are also available as an upgrade, if desired. Contact me for the special Mother's Day pricing, and for sample images! These pieces of photographic jewlery are a new addition to my line of products. They are high quality and I am super excited to be bringing them to you! In fact, I think i found my own Mother's Day gift to myself :)

Brand new baby
{fulton newborn photography]
Today I had the honor to be present at baby Oliver's birth, as his mommy's doula.
He arrived at 5:39pm on Easter Day, weighing 7lbs3oz, measuring 19in and very very cute.
I attended his birth as the labor doula, for 26 hours, and witnessed the very hard work his mommy Stacey has gone through, for many hours, to bring him into the world safely and lovingly.
This was a VBA2C birth and special in every way, officiated by the ever talented and dedicated dr T.
Congratulations Stacey, Allen and big brothers and sisters (especially the super brave Anastasia), thank you so much for inviting me to be a part of this woderful day!

Beauty in the park
{atlanta outdoor family portraits}
Yesterday's late afternoon session was filled with beauty. The day was gorgeous, the park was green and idyllic, and the family - truly good looking and a lot of fun.
I loved meeting and getting to photograph you all!
Here is your sneak peek. I have so many others I love, picking just a few was not easy!

Rainy day portraits in the park
{family photography atlanta georgia}
Here is the second family who came out to play yesterday. You might recognize them from their recently posted birth announcement. It was mommy's birthday and what better way to always remember the day than with some wonderful portraits of their truly beautiful family!
I love it that lately every session seems to create at least one image I can rate as one of my all time favorites! This was the case for the most recent several photo-shoots, this one included (I won't tell you which image, though)
Thanks guys for coming out to the park, it's always such a joy spending time with you!

Rain, rain, go away (or come at night)
{family photography tucker georgia}
Today I had three wonderful families come to the park for their mini-sessions. The forecast was not encouraging, but it was worth braving it, as the bright, overcast, "about-to-rain" sky made the colors pop. And we even got some sunlight peeking now and then!
Here is the first family, who actually drove through the rain to get there, and we took the first few pictures in a light drizzle.
Thanks for coming, guys, and for giving me the chance to photograph Alex and Emma again!

The many faces of Max
{atlanta child photography}
Yesterday we had an oasis of sunshine amongst an uncharacteristically rainy streak. We took advantage of the afternoon by photographing Max in and around downtown Decatur, with the aim to capture his beauty, as well as his many wonderful expressions.
We had a blast and there are quite a few favorites I have from this session.
Here are just some quick picks:
