Today we photographed a wonderful couple during their special day - complete with a parade, hand-made birdhouse decorations, and very moving letters Jon and Kate wrote and read to one another during the ceremony.
Their love and delight in each other was clear to all -- here is a quick preview of the beauty we were honored to witness on this beautiful afternoon!
May your light shine brightly, as you enjoy the rest of your lives together!

Love, cherished
{atlanta wedding and engagement photographers}
we blush each time you share this on Facebook!
Lately we've been contacted by several people who love our children portraits and are hoping we'd be able to cover their wedding or engagement session.
We take only a handful of weddings each year, and the basic coverage starts at $2,000. Our detailed wedding price list is available by request.
Engagement sessions are available as part of some of the wedding packages, or stand-alone as Creative Portrait sessions.
Additionally, this year we have a special offer for couples: Our signature 'Love, cherished' portrait sessions. These are "just-because" portrait sessions for people in love, to give you beautiful reminders of this time in your lives.
Email oana@shutterview.com if you'd like to be one of our 'Love, cherished' couples this year, and to hear the wonderful offer we have for you.

A perfect day
{wedding portraits atlanta}
A very special couple invited me to take portraits of their family the morning of their 10/10 wedding. The location was Oakhurst's historic Solarium, and the celebration was filled with an outpour of love from family and friends.

I was honored to witness their wonderful day and take some memorable images during my session.
Yes, the bride is stunning and the groom super handsome, but really: how cute are those children!!?

Love Session, continued
{wedding portraits atlanta}
A few more images as a follow-up to the earlier announcement of Zhaozhe and Changsheng's marriage, to tie them over until their full gallery is complete in a few days.
I love LOVE, don't you? The closeness and joy in this couple's relationship is wonderful and I am glad to have had the chance to create these memorable portraits for them to cherish!

And the dog makes three
Here is a quick preview of some of the pictures I took this weekend for Tina and James' engagement session.
I love both grungy, graffiti backgrounds, and wild, tall grass, and to find them both in one spot was great!

Thanks for playing along, guys, I had a lot of fun -- enjoy! I plan to post a couple more images tomorrow.

Capturing the mood
I love the images I took of the bouquet, cake and lights in the reception room. Here is one of my favorites.

Also, an image that grew on me and became one of the ones that speak to me about the "closeness and love in the midst of a world hurrying by" that often comes to mind when I think of this wonderful little family:

Smiles and dances
Last few of the recent wedding, as I am finishing going through all of them.
An image of the gorgeous ladies of the wedding party:
(this is a new post-processing technique I developed, not black and white, not sepia, but rather a glowy, golden-coppery shimmery tone -- I love the way it looks with portraits!)
And one of the dance floor:
Kept in constant motion by the super fun, well-chosen music selections of the talented MC Earl of Barkhill Sound:

Entering a new life
Here are two more sneak images: first one is of them walking down the aisle. Despite the darkness of the rainy day, I got some good light in these images, I love the way it glows, so warmly. The whole day was like that, intimate and loving.

The second image was taken during the 5 minute break in the downpour -- I am very glad I persuaded them to do this, this is one of my favorite images of the day.
Congratulations once again, guys! I hope you enjoy your Key West escapade!

Wedding brilliance
Some more vibrant color images from Nicole and Donald's wedding, a few "details" of this very special day and some of the "getting ready" process.
The reception was at Winfield Hall, in Duluth. Everything was so beautiful and fun to photograph.

I loved the bouquet! (by Jose and Dick at Sonshine Florist):
Here is Alex with grandma, getting ready too, and yes, he really is THAT cute.
And how about the bride-to-be? Isn't she absolutely glowing?
