Nicole and Donald are married!
It was a privilege and a LOT of fun being there to witness and document Nicole and Donald's wedding. A super-quick sneak peek is posted below -- stay tuned for more over the next few days! As you can see, Nicole was serenade-worthy in her radiant beauty!

CJ
I photographed CJ today in my role as a "Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep"(NILMDTS) affiliate volunteer photographer.
He is gorgeous and strong and so clearly loved.
I am posting this in case his mommy takes a look at the blog, before I get a chance to complete the package I will be mailing them.
He and I share a birthday... He is two weeks old.
I am honored to have captured these very special images. You, guys, are in my prayers.

Mary
A few more pictures from this weekend.
The many faces of Mary, all within one minute of each other:
What says "toddler" better than a crayon and a cracker clutched in the same little hand - and one more cracker in the other hand, for good measure :)
Two days after these images were taken, the temperature dropped by 30F and we had snow flurries in Atlanta!

Celebrity spotting!
Handsome William was spotted this weekend after apparently having shopped at B&BW. He then had a quick bite to eat at a posh midtown cafe :)
(I love photographing this beautiful child!)

Mesmerizing
There is something special about this image that draws me to it. It's been on my mind a lot since I created it earlier this month.
The depth of the child's gaze, the anytime/anywhere out-of-time/out-of-place aspect of it. There is something extraordinary about it, in my perception, anyway:

Jump for joy!
I love jumping pictures, and tonight I had some cooperating models :)
One of them also ended up posing advertisment-style, for a certain product she favors currently.

Color me pink
I just can't say "no" to color, when it comes to certain Mary pictures... I was going to turn this one to sepia, but instead, here it is:

Here "E" is!
A long overdue picture of the guy most endearingly unaware of his stunning good looks... no wonder he is spoken for!!

Saving the Daylight
I love the time change! "Saving the daylight" is exactly right -- our carport in the evening is aglow, perfect place for my favorite type of image: backlit portraits!

Fun with backgrounds
Here are the gorgeous sisters Indie and Mila, photographed against an "urban" mural and against the sky+moon. I love these images!
Golden light
Close to sunset today (7:30) the light reflected off a brick church across the street became this amazing golden portrait light -- here is my son, temporarily interrupted from playing with the dirt near a mound of... hmm... trash? The light can make all the difference:

36
36 is not bad at all. Hard to believe though that 18 was half my life ago...
Yesterday, on my birthday, I felt happy, loved and incredibly blessed:
