I’ve had a great time this month attending one of the larger photography conventions of the year (Imaging USA), in New Orleans. Since my in-laws live in south Mississippi, I was able to have my family join me for a little sight-seeing on one of the days (and of course, beignets at Cafe Du Monde!).
Also, as I was leaving town the evening after the last presentation, I was excited to have it rain just enough to give the street a delicious sheen, while staying warm and pleasant outside – so, I found some easy parking (thanks, rain!) in the French Quarter and strolled around for about 45 minutes, bought some po-boy bread, and took some photographs of the wonderful citiscapes – enjoy!
